My Space Sucks

It really does. It sucks you into it and you don't even have time to post or anything just by finding more and more old friends that you wanna add or comment on or send messages. Yes I re-opened my myspace account and updated it with pretty much my first post from here.

The moving went great. We're almost completelly unpacked and set up. I will owe you the pictures of the house where we live now tough.

Carolina is taking her driving test Tomorrow so PLEASE SAY A PRAYER. Not for her to pass but for the other driver HA HA HA. I'm terrible. NO NO NO NO, for real.. She's a great driver; she learned from me (Blend of sarcasm and irony).

Come visit me whenever you want. I live here so please come visit me.

I’m moving….

Hello people…. In a couple of weeks I’m going to be moving to a house. NO I’M NOT BUYING A HOUSE. NO I’M NOT RENTING A HOUSE EITHER. I’m just gonna be LOVING A HOUSE. YES…. One of my many Godgiven American Moms, Janie Lineberguer, (my English teacher from Emmanuel who adopted me since I came to the states.) is moving to Gainesville to live near where she and her husband work, and needs someone to LOVE her house. ME! Isn’t that cool? What’s even better is that ALMIGHTY GOD worked out a perfect way for me to get out of my leasing contract ,which I just signed a couple of months ago, without loosing my deposit or paying any penalty AT ALL! Isn’t God wonderful? PRAISE HIM! Pictures of my new home will be provided once the moving is completed.

In other order of IDEAS, I just stood up Jana Garret badly last night. I told her that I was going to meet her at some concert of some Bluegrass band that she loves and dies for who was playing here in Athens, and I didn’t even gave her the courtesy call. My apologies to you Jana. I really tried not to stand her up. It was one of those situations where everything works for contrariety. I got caught in a reunion of the Venezuelan Jodedera Association for the celebrations of one of our member who became an US Resident PLUS my cellphone battery died.

Continuing to change subject, I’m going to be in Forsyth County this weekend to visit some friends and Godgiven American relatives. That’s it… I’m out… this post sucks cuz it does not have pictures… may be I should put a random one… MAY BE.

We love the beach!

This things can get vicious to the point where they almost take the snack out of your lips if you're not watching them...

What a hard life... this is my Friend Angelo who I'm trying to hook up with Fawn but she doesn't like him.

My gorgeous and beautiful wife and me at Clearwater FL.

BACK TO REAL WORLD

OK, I’m going to let the images speak for themselves…. We got back from our little vacation on Thuesday July the 4th and we had a BLAST (We left on Friday the 30th)!

We ended up not driving all the way down to Miami. Orlando was so much fun that we decided to stay there and go to the beach in Tampa. Clear water is AWESOME!! SO GORGEOUS!!!

I have more pictures but this is what I managed to put on Photobucket by now.

This past days I have been cellphoneless but NO MORE! I tried canceling my prepaid line to get a contract so I can get a phone to my wifey too, but It ended up not working that great, so I re-activated my old prepaid line back. Cingular charges way too much safe deposit to people like me who’s just starting to build up little credit, and I figure the credit card balance from the Disney trip didn’t help too much either HA HA HA!

Anyways… stay in touch… thanks for swinging by… more updates during the weekend.

Trip to Augusta

This past weekend Carolina and I went to Augusta GA to visit my good ol' pal David Osmond. For those of you who don't know him, that guy is my American twin brother. Not so much because we look alike but because we think so much the same way about many different things. Anyways... He also recently got married on December 31st 2k5 and (I was his best man) bought a house in North Augusta SC which is like a sneeze away from Augusta GA.

Anyways... We hung out and had so much fun like when we were in college but now even nicer because we each had a girls HE HE HE. I know this past couple of post might have seemed kind of lame but right now I'm just trying to get used to the habit of journaling. Little to little I should be getting inspiration to relate more appealing stories.

Here are the pictures...

IN OTHER ORDER OF IDEAS...

This weekend we're going to FL! I'm taking next Monday off at work so on Friday night we're renting a Car and Driving all the way down to Orlando. We're going to stop there for the day to visit some friends and then head down to MIAMI at night. The big surprise that I have for my wifey is that I'm taking her to Disney World! HECK YEAH... I'm going to just drive there and buy tickets to Epcot Center which I find to be the most diverse of all parks and spend the entire day there. She never reads my blog and I hope she doesn't because then I'm blowing the surprise but She has no clue that I'm taking her to Disney.

Once we get to Miami, we're going to stay at a friend's vacation house there in Coral Gable and try to get as much sun burned and we can ha ha ha. I also have some friends there in Miami that I'm going to try to track down to hang out a little bit.

THEN, On July the 4th I'm driving 12 hours back to GA! Please say a prayer for me. (TRAVELING MERCIES)

Emily Came

My friend Emily Clark made the trip all the way from VA to come and hang out with the Northern GA EC Crew for the weekend. (About two weeks ago).

We ate breakfast at Golden Corral in Winder on that Saturday but when I got there I barely made it to breakfast. Halfway through the meal it was lunch time already so I decided to just eat my lunch also since I was already there and make my money worth.

Latter that day we met again in my apartment (love shack) and just hung out for a while listening to music, checking out people's pictures on the net and eating nachos with grape juice. (It might sound boring to some of you but we had a blast).

Carolina is on the Road

Life is good. Million thanks to the people who has visited this blog. Now I have a reason to wake up earlier to go to work and it’s to check this thing. I would even miss breakfast time oversleeping but now I get up 15 min earlier and eat my cereal while checking the blogs.

My wife’s English has improved a lot and I’m very excited. She’s been baby sitting to a 7 year old and It has been really good for her listening. The classes at the Catholic Social Services are excellent, they have a very qualified staff, oh btw did I forget to tell you that I’m teaching English now once a week at the Catholic Social Services Center? For my wife’s luck I don’t teach her class ha ha ha, she’s in the Advanced Class and I’m teaching the Intermediate 1. I’m an awful friend teacher, trainer, etc… . I can teach strangers nicely but not my friends. I get too mean when they don’t learn and I guess it’s my fault but with unknown people I seem to do real good.

In that line of toughts….. I’m teaching Carolina how to drive and It’s driving me NUTS. She had never ever touched a steering wheel. No even from the bumpy cars when you’re little and go to those amusement parks. NADA… Not even Bicycle. I could not believe it. So once her comprehension in English got well enough, she passed the computer test and got her learner’s permit. I’ve been trying to teach her how to drive and after a month of practice, she’s now on the streets with me. But really it is hard to get used to a different country’s trafic laws when you haven’t even driven in your own city but are used to the way traffic is there. It took me quite a while to start using the seat belt as a passenger and it took her almost two months. Now, the whole turning signal thign which is UNUSED in Venezuela, the whole yield to pedestrian which is UNSEEN in Venezuela and getting used to change lanes, looking at the rear and side view mirrors, that’s insane. I feel like I’m gonna die every time she forgets to do it. Poor of my wife… she has done an excellent job putting up with all my fussing and nervousness. I buy her ice cream and chocolate every time that I get too cranky giving her instructions and she forgives me. LOVE IS GOOD!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL

HECK YEAH... The World Cup...

This is going to be my sixth year here in the US and ever since I laid my 15size foot on Uncle Sam’s land I have progressively getting “Americanized”. First was the language, then I feel in love with North American sarcasm and irony. Anways… I never even though that I was such a big fan of Soccer until this world cup.

This is the first World Cup ever that I’m not at home. My life here is full of first time of thing away from home, like my birthday last year that no one remembered and I bought a cake for myself and took that hideous pictures that I have not yet been able to take out of this profile because when I go to edit it nowere there says the word Browse so I can choose a new one to upload. SIDETRACKED SIDETRAKED (as you can read I’m still a little bit bitter about my last year birthdays even tough this year really made up for that because my wifey is HERE WITH ME HECK YEAH).

BACK TO THE WOLRD CUP…. So here I completely fell in panic because I didn’t have were and with whom to watch EL MUNDIAL. I do have a TV, but there’s a Venezuelan tradition that YOU OUGHT TO WATCH IT IN AT LEAST A 52” SCREEN with at least 4 o 5 people and a obscene provision of beer. My World Cup experience was doomed for 06’ I though until a couple of weeks ago one of the members of the Athens Jodedera & Club Venezuelan Association (that’s the name that I have for my crew of 5 Venezuelan Friends that live here in Athens) gave me a call saying. Come to my house I have a surprise for you. When I got there he had rented this enormous 64” TV with surround sound home entertainment system OH MY GOSH… is has been like being in home this past two weeks.. I’m gonna miss it so bad when the world cup is over. We (the 7 of US) have been watching the re-runs almost every night. Yes you read right 7 because God has blessed me once again with a wife that looooooooves to watch fútbol… (soccer for you Americans). What else can I ask in life?????
